Airlander 10 Test Flight 6 - 17/11/17

Post by TheMightyOz » Fri Nov 17, 2017 7:41 pm

G-PHRG "Martha Gwyn" Airlander 10 flew her sixth test flight this afternoon, having been testing on the ground at Cardington airfield over the last couple of weeks after coming back out of Shed One where she received some upgrades. It was a short flight of just a few circuits and bumps. Apologies for the poor quality, but these were taken from 4 miles away (at the new Wixams roundabout on the B530 at Kempston Hardwick after I'd heard she was airborne and rushed out from work in Ampthill for those that like detail), in fading light with moisture in the air and shivering fingers. And if I can think of any more excuses I'll let you know.

Hope they're of interest.

Cheers,

Excellent shots Oz, looks like something out of a sci-fi movie in the last shot.

It seems to have had a major set-back today though :- https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/amp/uk-engla ... s-42037832
