Civilian Aviation

A lovely day so another lunch time visit.

Whilst I was there the Ryan was pulled out of the hangar and as I hadn't seen it flying before (except from a distance as it flew over Bedford once) I had to put off my return to work until it was airborne and ended up having a 2-hour lunch hour! There was a lot of cloud about, but thankfully the sun stayed out and my almost drained camera battery held out for these photos.

And here's the rest of the action from my visit. Spotted the Tiger Moth and Jodel arriving into the circuit together as I was driving through the village and managed to beat them to the airfield.
