Whilst visiting family over the half term holidys I managed to get a couple of visits to Manchester, shame that the days I went were cloudy and dull, but never mind :D

Thanks for the comments. Yes 300mm should be ok, the beauty of the south side of the 2nd runway is that the bridlepath runs virtually the legnth of the runway so even if you have a "big" lens you just need to walk a bit further down the path
