you wouldn't have liked the bright conditions yesterday bob - far too much heat haze

nice ones despite the cloud, I wasn't around for the C.17 as I was in Suffolk where it was sunny until around 6pm so looks like the weather was slowly moving north.
The forecast for tomorrow morning is rather poor (putting it politely) so a departure pic of the C.17 is unlikely.

Yep, it was a pleasant few hours spent there (including a pint in the "Horseshoes") & I have no idea what the UTair was doing at STN ... haven't seen much said about it anywhere on the groups I use......??
