had these in today. Not many pictures of the Monarch B738 around and was nice to see it:

they havnt had it long, i think only a couple of weeks and most of that time its been in maintenance. Today was its first flights and as far as i know its preparing pilots for the new B737-8Max's they have on order due in the beginning on 2018.

Nice , I didn't even know Monarch was still an Airline ! I remember the Britannia's , 720's and 1-11's .

It's due to spend a couple of weeks crew training from Birmingham with regular training flights to Teesside, Newquay & Prestwick before starting scheduled flights in time for the peak Summer period. It's due to be Birmingham based for the Summer.
