9th April - With the missus away all day on Sunday (watching her brother complete the Brighton Marathon in a very respectable time of 4:14) and the blazing sunshine, the situation almost demanded a visit to Old Warden. I took my daughter for our first visit to the lovely play area, bought her a kids meal from the new catering trailer and then played on the grass with her, whilst occasionally jumping up to photograph aeroplanes, as below:

Absolutely lovely seeing them...I have many happy memories of going to every show there when I lived in Bedford many moons ago...Grosvenor House looks beautiful as always, even with her cowlings off....brilliant memories brought back to life
