Orbis approaching - Stansted 9-3-2017

The Orbis MD.10 Flying Eye hospital arrived at Stansted this morning on a short flight from Dublin, luckily it was the best day weatherwise for a week or so and the sun shone brightly on it. It is staying at Stansted for a week or so (one rumour says departing on 22nd) but at present it is visible but not photographable from the northside (or the left side of a Ryanair B.737 departing to Bologna if it's on runway 04 - I hope so as that's what i'm doing on 17th!).

3 pics of it at different angles, one with a clear blue sky background, one with a dark cloud background and one with a mixture of both! yes we were lucky....

correct, visible from northside but not photographable

Great set, very well captured. Hopefully this aircraft will keep the sights and sounds of the DC-10 in the skies for a long time still to come.
