For a change the monthly Planewatch meet at the Aerozone featured partially sunny weather for a change. A good variety of aircraft obliged and I had my first chance to use my Sigma 150-600 at this venue , I was rather pleased especially with the more distant shots, here are some of them

starting with the airliners:

Ryanair's EI-DCL in the half special scheme

and several newish Ryanair 737s made an appearance, this one is EI-FTW

and there were two Nigerian Government aircraft present, B737 5N-FGT arrived while Gulfstream 5 5N-FGW had been present for a few days (the 737 also carries a military serial 001 and both are titled Nigerian Air Force)...

Nice set - I particularly like the Nigerian Air Force shots.

A great account of yesterday's action Andy! We definitely had some interesting and good-looking aircraft around - obviously the Nigerians, but also the BBJ N737M too.

Lovely set there Andy, nice one

Wish I could get to STN a lot more often, but distance doesn't allow. My friend Chris was there yesterday too - just joined the scheme, and it was his first visit so knowing what a jammy so-and-so he is he was probably responsible for the dry weather yesterday :D

Looks like you're enjoying the new lens too

Thea

many thanks , I wonder if I spoke to Chris? re the weather being dry - tell him to come more often!

Nick - thanks for the comment, N737M was a super scheme, I took lots so plenty of pics to choose from. Was nice to have a bit of sun for a change but wind got cold - can't have it perfect!

i'm really enjoying it, amazing how many more subjects are within range and it's sharp right up to 600mm
