A bit of a road trip to Shannon to get the WP-3D Orion of NOAA did a few engine runs but never flew :( quite day but some nice light looks like another 525 mile round trip maybe required

Cracking shots their Paultogo...

I have been looking at getting a flight out from the UK to Shannon to shoot that Orion, or drive from Dublin as heard it was meant to be their for a while, but didn't know how long its stopping for???

Supposed to be a 6 week deployment I am told and it has been here 2 weeks, it has only flown 5 times no storms to chase !

brilliant shots Paul despite the lack of air under the wheels, better luck for that if you make a return trip

Shame the P-3 didn't fly, but nice to see it anyway. Good shots of the other stuff, and interesting to see the Sun Country 737 - is that whisking holidaymakers across to Florida perhaps, or was it in for maintenance/painting?
