Here's are a few of the more interesting visitors to Robin Hood airport in November.
The month started in real style with a visit and overnight stay by one of Rada Airlines two IL-62M. Unfortunately is arrived after dark, but was parked in a reasonably accessible spot and we had a fantastic sunrise to greet her to Doncaster!

IL62 on stand by Lee Adcock, on FlickrIt was supposed to depart at 7am, but as often is the case with cargo it got pushed back eventually leaving at 10:55. Much to the relief of the crowd that had gathered, it was a very cold morning!

IL62 take off by Lee Adcock, on FlickrNovember saw the start of East Midlands runway resurfacing and subsequent weekend closure. Robin Hood airport took over the DHL cargo during the weekends. This is slated to run until Christmas. However despite there being aircraft from Southern Air, Aero Logic, DHl and Woodgate Aviation all flight have so far arrived and departed in the dark. But the first week end I managed to catch another reasonable sunrise and a DHL 757 on stand that would later depart that evening.
