Well yunglee has shown us some superb daylight photos of this rare visitor getting it 'right on the night' as it were ! My very long day was not so good ! It should have arrived at 13:00 ish when the weather was at it's best .... but it didn't, for reasons unknown, it decided to arrive at 20:00 when it was a tad dark .... so of the multitude of photos taken this could be the 'best' ?? But at least I was there and I tried ... Could we have a competition for the worst photo of the month ?????

Yep sometimes best laid plans go to pot with delays! It was a real shame it didn't arrive in daylight. At least you got to see it land.

Many thanks for that yunglee ! My 16hr day was not just for the 'pigs ear' photo ?? I collected a few of the smaller movements throughout the day ....
