after the Earls Colne visit/meeting we ventured over to Stansted to catch the arrival of 2 Qatari c.17s. weather was hardly kind but I got some pics of them plus a few others.....

Titan's latest addition still in the antarctic scheme:

this went up very quickly, must have been light...

and this Orange2go A.320 was operating the cobalt flight, light was really poor (sky matched the first Qatari ) by the time it departed

Great set Andy, especially the 747 and the nice paint scheme C-17. I was over at Mildenhall and was tempted to pop over for the C-17's but decided against it. Have to hope they venture up to Doncaster some time in the future :whistle:

thanks Phil, I wish the sun had come out an hour or so earlier would have made them far better. I also left my 70D and 100-400 lens at home as I wasn't planning to go to STN originally. - Bad move :mad:
