Stansted 23-10-2016 early start for a Sunday 4K-AI08

Post by andygolfer » Sun Oct 23, 2016 8:30 am

I don't often get to Stansted this early but a heads up from the Stansted Yahoo group (thanks to Paul Dunn) said the Azerbaijan President's A.340, 4K-AI08 was due in for a short stop (it's due out at 10.00 local if you're very quick) so lovely early morning sunshine lured me out into the cold.

It was worth it , beautiful scheme in that light, 3 of my pics of it....

for the last one the light was so good that all I had to do was trim the pic and a slight sharpen, the other head ons had a slight richening of the colours too as there was a bit of moisture in the air

C& C welcome

Andy

Very nice, lovely photos. Also a bit if a different morning here, 60 miles up the road, grey, heavy cast and rain. Worth getting up and out when the morning is nice, especially if you come back with this ! :thumb:

It was my turn to get up at 7 a.m. to let the dogs out and I turn on the PC to see if anything was about - rather lucky! The cloud moved through here just after it landed but cleared again, now sunny but very hazy. Hope to catch up soon Kev.

thanks Nick and also for making it the new header pic for the Stansted airport yahoo group: https://groups.yahoo.com/neo/groups/stansted/info - where the original heads up was posted by Paul Dunn that got me there in the first place. A great site for info on movements at Stansted (shameless plug!).
