Manchester 18-10-16 - Wet and very very cold

Post by MikeG23 » Tue Oct 18, 2016 6:40 pm

I knew it was going to rain this afternoon, which is why I went so that I could get some decent spray shots. What I hadn't bargained for was a driving wind and freezing cold - remind me not to do that again ! ! !

A hot drink and a change of clothes later and I can just about feel my fingers now.

I'd say the KLM and first Emirates both make it well worth it though. Well done for braving the wx for those!

Brave man Mike! Trouble is we don't often get warm rain in this country.

I agree with Nick that the first Emirates is the pick of them at least for the spray shots that you wanted. The reflections on the 2nd virgin and the EZY are very nice too.
Hope you are fully re-warmed and dried out and when you are you might well decide that it was worthwhile.
