Stansted 16-9-2016, B.747-8BBJ A6-PFA making spray

A very brief trip to Stansted this afternoon to catch The Amiri Royal Flight's B.747-8 BBJ A6-PFA arriving at Stansted in heavy rain. I got a bit wet even just being out in the rain for just a few minutes but got some pics of it. A rather spectacular arrival with spray going everywhere! At least there was no need for a water salute for it's arrival!

many thanks, I probably looked a bit odd to be honest.

I had a plastic carrier bag over the camera with a small hole torn in it so that I could look through the view finder! At least it worked!

i've got a rain cover somewhere but sods law being what it is - when I wanted it in a hurry I couldn't find it
