A mixture of shots from four locations - made it to Myrtle Ave for the first time but the weather was "pants".
Shots therefore mainly from Terminal 5 departures and Thistle Hotel on the day 09L was in use.
Renaissance Hotel for most of the 27 shots - plus a couple from the homeward bound flight - all more or less in alphabetical reg order (possible onset of OCD)

Great mix of shots, good variation of angles.

i take it the landing shots on rwy 27R were from inside the Renaissance Hotel,'because they are amazing for behind glass!

Re: Weekend Visit to Heathrow (Pic Heavy)
Thanks Gents
You are right Mike - the 27R shots are from the hotel room through glass - the reflections of the double glazing can be a challenge.
What I find helps is get the lens as close to the window as possible - cuts down on reflections, and even daft things like make sure you wear a dark top and switch off all the room lights will help.

Re: Weekend Visit to Heathrow (Pic Heavy)
nice set with lots of variety
I was at the renaissance at the beginning of the month and you seem to have got far more specials than i did
After my trip last year i was on about the light reflections off the glass and Andy suggested getting a collapsible rubber lens hood so you can put the lens hood on the glass and still move the camera a bit from side to side to get the shot

thats the sort of thing that we were talking about
