Yup, another 4 day week - so I spent the day at the 'viewing area' at the 09 end at Bristol Lulsgate.
Cloudy most of the time, but the sun broke through on a few occasions.
Hope you like my selection from the day!

Hope you will permit the private aircraft I've included, as it doesn't really warrant starting another thread in my book.
Surprise of the day was seeing the DH84 Dragon, marked as EI-ABI, which flew the first Aer Lingus flight between Dublin (Baldonnel) and Bristol on 27 May 1936 - 80 years to the day.
All in all, a nice selection during the day - thanks for looking

Lovely sharp shots, despite the conditions. Nice to capture a little piece of history with the Dragon. As far as I'm aware this is the correct forum for GA as well as CAT.

Thanks.
Wasn't 100% sure with including the privately owned, hence the pre-emptive apology!

yes it is correct, we amalgamated several forums a years or so ago to save members from having to split photos from one day out into 2 or 3 different posts, this way you get a fuller picture of a day out.
thanks for posting them

It certainly was! She commenced the take off run from (roughly) the midpoint of the runway, heading East, and despite using my 100-400mm lens it was still a distant photo.
I was in Cheshire Cat mode when the pilot called up on the Tower frequency saying they were inbound to 09. They made 3 or 4 flights yesterday, so plenty of opportunity in the end!
