A good Friday at Dublin

Post by Grass73 » Fri Mar 25, 2016 6:30 pm

Having the day off work and with the sun out I decided to pop down to the "local" for a few hours. Turned out to be a wise choice.

1) EI-DEO the first of the "Green Spirit" jets

3) Lucky to catch this normally nocturnal ATP

4) Aer Lingus' EI-EWR "St. Thomas" arriving from the States.

8) WOW! Seeing as they only show up during the working week, it was my first time to see a Wow Air in Dublin and luckily it was TF-MOM

9) G-FBEM, Flybe Emb-195 heading back to Cardiff. Can't say I'm a fan.

10) Jet Airways, A6-JAC operating from Etihad Airways - previously operated for Turkish A/L as VT-JEN

13) Star item - Rubystar's An-12 EW-338TI. She arrived earlier in the week with a spare engine for a sick LH Airbus. Rumoured to be departing on Sunday, it was a surprise to see her fire up the burners and depart. Perhaps the crew decided not to hang around after discovering all the pubs are shut on Good Friday. Sadly she was late lifting.

Hope you enjoy.

Cheers lads.

My first visit of the year, Paul. Only went down for the Jet Airways. I was told the An-12 was to leave on Sunday, then it was changed to 14.00 on Friday and at 12.50 she called up to do.

Regards

Niall
