All very nice Alan, you got some cracking line up shots, the light on the citation is awesome that is a great shot
nothing beats a few hours on the mound on the south side when the light/winter sun is kind to you

I was up the Mobberley end of the new runway last month and it was a complete mud bath, i was that muddy when i came off the path i was reluctant to get in the car, I love an early start at the halway point just as they rotate for take offAlanP wrote:Cheers Mach one Think anywhere on south side is good, right down the runway you've got excellent views.
what are the trees/ bushes like on the mound where you were, last time i was there a few were starting to get quite high
There used to be a regular visitor to the mound that used to do a bit of pruning and he did a great job of keeping the bushes down but i geuess he hasnt been around for a while

I wasn't actually on the mound so don't know what they are like but i know what you mean about them getting in the way. Came well prepared with wellies as guessed it would be bad Ha Ha and it was

Its a great camera and yes it is my first full frame DSLR. Wouldn't recommend it if you use your camera as a machine gun like some do. I haven't had it that long so don't think i've got the best out of it yet.
