On Floats - Canada, Alaska

Post by LondonEye » Sat Jan 23, 2016 8:01 pm

Hi, we do not get to see many float aircraft in the UK. Some places in Canada / Alaska seem to use them as easy as we would use a car.
Here is a flavour of what can be seen. (Taken with a Fuji Bridgecamera).
Maybe, a theme topic of UK amphibious aircraft could be of interest?

Thanks-
over the years, in the UK we have had Lake L-4, Teal Amphibian, Volmer Sportsman, Grumman Goose etc even DH82A Tiger Moth G-AIVW with floats. Maybe folk will share some pics if I start a thread under theme topic or nostalgia.
