The sole An.225 UR-82060 'Myria' (Russian for Dream!) arrived at Doncaster this morning for an overnight stay. First time I had seen in since Farnborough 1990 and what a sight it was.....

the pilot requested a flypast before landing which was duly granted - the day was getting better and better, the sun was even breaking through!

and after a trip away to Sandtoft and Sturgate airfields it was back to Doncaster to attempt a night shot, shame all the cargo etc was on the near side of the aircraft

Well done Andy, some great angles there. Like you I've not seen it since Farnborough '90, and would love to see it again and get some digital shots. Very kind of them to perform a flypast before landing for the assembled enthusiasts

well what can i add to what has already been said not much really, but i am really jealous

this is still on my must see list i have seen it on the ground but still to see it moving and flying, I will have to make it my mission for 2016 if it comes back to our shores

makes the Watkin jones Kingair look a bit small doesn't it
