Copa Airlines in FLN/SBFL

Post by sbfl1308 » Thu Jun 04, 2015 3:56 pm

In last Tuesday, a Boeing 737-800 of the Panamanian Copa Airlines alternated his flight from Porto Alegre (POA / SBPA) to Florianopolis (FLN / SBFL), due to heavy fog on that city. I share with you some photos of the aircraft at the time of his departure. For a full report and more photos, visit the link below. I count on your visit.

nice pics,
is that ex United as the scheme looks rather familiar and the nosewheel door number is different to the reg?

First, thanks for the comment. Really, all the planes of the Copa Airlines have these two numbers, but this to me is also a mystery. I do not know the meaning of the front number.

Best Regards.

COPA has had a close relationship with Continental (now United obviously) for a decade or two, hence the similar livery.

I would guess that the numbers on the nosewheel doors are fleet numbers that bear no relationship to the registration, like Air Canada etc. Just a guess though.
