Friday afternoon in darkest Essex (Stansted!) more added

Post by talldan76 » Sat Apr 25, 2015 6:21 pm

Had an aviation "Fix" day yesterday, with the morning and early afternoon spent up at Mildenhall, and then across at Stansted for the late afternoon / early evening.

All photo's taken with a newly acquired Canon 100-400mm L Mk I lens, very happy with the results - just got to get used to the weight now!!

Nice mix of types during the time I was there, photo's in the order they were taken...

Nice set Dan. Good Maltese frame and I like the close-ups. Don't know what you had before but I'm sure you'll enjoy the switch to the 100-400.

Nice shots Dan. Recently acquired the same lens but excepting flyovers haven't had the chance to try it out on similar heavies. Thanks for posting. Karl

Great Fedex touchdown shots Dan, especially the second one. I have a soft spot for freighters, so loving most of these to be honest. I've had a 100-400L Mk1 for years, it's a fantastic piece of kit, you won't be disappointed.
