The prospect of seeing an unusual visitor drew me out into the cold on Saturday morning, finally arriving after my car couldnt get up a short hill at Winters Lane (appropriately named) & having to be pushed,to find the airport closed due to the amount of snow that had fallen in a short space of time. It was all worth it in the end as the weather cleared & had some lovely light for a while.

Here are the images for the day.

KLM E190 was the first arrival after the airport re-opened.

Excellent selection. Not often a Ryanair 737-800 shot can be called interesting, but yours with the cloud of snow behind it certainly is.

Great set of pictures Gary and always nice to shoot in a slightly different environment. I could see on PP the Austrian circling before diverting to Gatwick.

The Greenland Express is certainly a rarity in these parts.

Cheers

Neil
