Civilian Aviation

Last weekend a couple of pals and I headed north for the first time to photograph the chopper activity. We were most definitely not disappointed! At times we didn't know which way to look with a/c operating in all directions. The locals we met were the most open and friendly bunch I think I've ever met, an absolute credit to themselves. just one thing, weekends are very quiet so try and include a weekday if you go up there. Anyway, on with the show, I hope you enjoy.

A fantastic set and very hard to pick a winner.

A superb selection. The front 3/4 shots with the prominent exhaust efflux are particularly good.

On of the best adverts for attracting photographers north to Aberdeen there has ever been. I Iive up here but i am amazed by this set,it conveys how busy
this place is and not one fixed wing in this batch makes it even more so, spoke to you 3 guys on the Saturday afternoon( between the rain showers) over on the
east side glad you enjoyed your trip this far north and got the photographs you were after, brilliant set of photos here and on flickr.

Cracking set, and great rotor blur!

Very nice shot! I like the one of G-VINL departing with the vapour off the blade! More ABZ shots would be good!
