Icelandic Coastguard and others at Aberdeen 19.08.14

Spent a few hours at a freezing Aberdeen today in order to catch the visiting Icelandic Dash 8. Thankfully it arrived earlier than planned though I had to leave before it did. As always there was plenty offshore traffic coming and going which kept me busy as well as the usual fixed wing aircraft.
First up is G-CALC of Bristow

This Ex Air Berlin 737-700 now with Germania threw up a fair bit of spray as the thrust reverse did it's job

The new Flybe livery made an appearance also. I quite like it as it's a step away from the all too common white schemes.

Next up was the Icelandic Dash 8. I should have positioned myself for this at the other side of the airfield as with the sun directly ahead made conditions pretty tricky.

And one through the fence next to Bond

The last movement I shot was G-REDJ in the now increasingly rare red scheme.

As always let me know what you think.
