As it was a nice evening and Belgium v Algeria held little or no appeal, I headed for Stansted again for the evening movements, here's some of my results (using flickr for the first time)

one of the FedEx feeder flights - Swift Air Emb120 departing with a rich blue sky background

Etihad Regional have recently replaced air Berlin on the Dusseldorf flights, last evening's flight was in Darwin colours:

another cargo flight arriving, UPS 767, the cargo stands were pretty busy by this time, 2 UPS 767s, 1 ABX 767, 1 Cargolux 747, 2 Titan 737s 1 Jet 2 737 and on the FedEx ramp, 1 MD11, 1 A300, the Air Contractors ATR72 and a Swift Air Emb 120 (think that was all)

Some Titan movements, firstly 2 of the 767 which turned off towards me and taxied back to the Titan hangar

737 G-POWC which went to the cargo stands

and all white 757 G-POWH which departed with a rather short take off run!

Germanwings A319 departing

FedEx MD11 taxying out after push back and start, just before another one arrived, shame the ground drops away on their ramp as I lost the wheels :(

and finally i stopped off at the northside on my way home and this Mexican Gulfstream was parked up, unfortunately partially blocking a Chinese Falcon, I hadnt been into the north side for a while and the solid fence next to the terminal is now replaced with mesh otherwise I wouldnt have seen these. It was starting to get a bit dark by now so unfortunately this is a bit dull and grainy but thought it was worth recording.

hope you find the pics interesting, comments welcome of course.

Nice set Andy. The front three-quarters of the Titan 767 is a corker. :thumb:

I always enjoy seeing the freight trade as well. Really should get myself down there sometime...

many thanks, that spot is great when they are landing on 04 in the evening and anything going north side turns down that taxiway towards you, i sometimes try to get one as they turn like the 767 then dash down to the fence with my other camera to get them right close to me as they turn back, i can just get images through the mesh with my sigms 18-250 as its only a 62mm dia lens unlike my canon 100-400 which a bit too big for that (and they are too close as well!)

Thanks Nick - I've missed too many evenings this summer and must get back before the evenings draw in to much.
Are you going to the planewatch event on Sunday?

I didn't know there was one Andy! I'm going to be a bit busy family-wise on Sunday anyway. What's going to be happening?
