Heathrow Heavies 2004

Post by PorkScratching » Sat May 17, 2014 1:42 pm

Here are some heavies shot at Heathrow back on 22 May 2004. On balance I thought this was the best forum for them, but mods feel free to move to the Nostalgia forum if you prefer. All taken with a Canon EOS D30 (3.1 megapixels!) and a fairly basic EF 75-300 USM MkIII lens. Those with a deeper blue sky were shot with a Hoya circular polariser - I remember it being a pain on that lens because the front element moved during focusing. Anyway, I hope you like them.

Great set Nick, some absolute crackers there - it's amazing how things have changed at LHR in only 10 years.

Welcome to CA. :) :thumb:

Thanks for the welcome chaps :thumb: Great that you're volunteering here Andy.

Amazing, and sad, how few 747s there are at Heathrow these days - there would be hardly any at all without BA and Virgin.
