Civilian Aviation

Another year past at the local and many many photos have been taken. I'd thought I'd post some of the shots over the year to showcase Aberdeen. 2014 looks promising for the airport with quite a few new routes being announced including AirBaltic to Riga! Anyway, I hope you've all have a fantastic Christmas and I hope you have a great new year.


We'll start with some snow, back in Jan'13. I was lucky with a catch of a SAS classic 737 - Hopefully a couple return before they are phased out.

amazing set Mark, after about 8 I had picked a favourite but by the end I had picked out at least a dozen, well done

That's a seriously good set of shots Mark, great stuff.

Lovely set Mark, not a bad year up there in the far North East! Looking forward to my annual visit in February. The Two Antonov 12's and the DC-3 are especially cool, but some of the snow shots are stunning.
