British Airways A.380 at Stansted 29-7-2013

BA’s first A.380 G-XLEA paid it's first visit to Stansted this afternoon for some training, here are a few pics of it’s arrival

Then I popped round to north side to try to get some ground pics but it was rather heat-hazy, I thought this one was worth posting – A whale & 2 jumbos, a rare site at STN and being 2 747-8Fs probably rare in most places

Hi Andy,

no matter hw many times I see the A380, the looks just don't improve!

have to say that although it's impressive sizewise, I still think the classic 747-200 is better looking, the stretch top didnt do much for the -300 & 400 series

Washington to LHR, off for a bit of a holiday in the USofA and the A380 starts on that route 2 days before we fly back. :D

Out to Toronto on a 747, will be nice to fly on one again before they all retire.
