Had the first real session of the year at the local this morning. Hoped to catch the Berjaya ATR 72 but that didn't show.

Had a heads-up on a local forum of an unusual visitor to Penang International this lunchtime; Air Atlanta Icelandic B744, TF-AAC, in Saudia colours. Had to go and try to catch it.

Went to the airport this morning to catch the Italian AF K767A and a Voyager, ZZ331. They're on Fighter Control.

Whilst there caught a few of the locals from a different angle.

Have not been very active with the camera of late but went down to the local last Thursday morning. Not a very good decision as it was the worst day for the dreaded haze (smoke from fires in Indonesia) that we have had so far this year.

Haven't been on the forum for quite some time as I have not visited the airport for quite a while.

Decided to head off down there early yesterday morning to try and catch a new(ish) low cost operator, Malindo. They use ATR72-600s and B739s on the route into Penang.

The first ATR came down the approach just before 8am and there wasn't that much light so had to increase the ISO quite a bit. Lots of noise unfortunately.
