Loach 011 & Friends

Post by 2.2DME » Sat Nov 03, 2012 9:47 pm

Hi All

A fantastic tour of the http://www.Huey.co.uk facility near Blackpool today. A great chance to properly look around some rare but very interesting helicopters which are still airworthy. They fired up the Loach in the afternoon & went for a little jolly around the block, what a fantastic photo opportunity! Many thanks to those who organised it

Mornin' Stephen,

I was hoping to go but, as seems to be the standard this year, I was scuppered!

Nice shots.

Did they have any news about the Cobra?

Regards

Reggie

Hi Steve, they've got a superb little collection going there! As you say great to see them out of the US :thumb:

Reggie, sorry to hear that you couldn't make it (we did give you a ring to try to find where you were so that'll explain the strange phone-number!). The Cobra is still in the US but they're progressing nicely, they have a good relationship with a number of very helpful people through importing the Huey & Loach which should help them :)

Cheers,
Stephen

Hi Stephen,

I was in a zero signal strength area when you called and I wondered who's number it was!

Thanks for trying though mate.

Great photos, how great would it be to see a Cobra.

I wish a few more airshows would book these ships.

I agree it would indeed be great to see them around a few more shows, I understand the operating costs are predictably large though!
