Visit to Prestwick to catch two jumbos departing at 4am.

Image
National Air Cargo 747-428(BCF) N949CA
'Camber 12' pushed back from Stand 7 and starting engines at 04.03am. Fuel stop en-route from Dover AFB to Incirlik Air Base, Turkey.

Image
Silk Way 747-4R7F 4K-SW800
'Silk Line 4157' pushed back for a runway 13 departure. Arrived from Baku around midnight and departed to Luxembourg at 04.15am.

I slept well today after getting home at 5am :D

Cheers Stu, definately well worth the trip down.
Sure most local residents didn't get a good nights sleep either with the two Jumbos and an Antonov 12 departing

Cheers! They do sound amazing!!
I shot it at 02:15 when it was starting up but light wasn't as good as the 744's with the tail well lit but none hitting the nose
Image
It didn't even stop on the runway kept creeping forward so no chance for a shot :grr:
