Compton Abbas - Sunday 25th March

Post by Disaster Area » Mon Mar 26, 2012 4:19 pm

Took advantage of the sunny weather and popped up the road to Compton Abbas Airfield yesterday afternoon.

The airfield was quite busy with comings and goings!

On with the images!

Chris.

Yes the Yak is quite nice but it is based at Popham I believe.

Stand to be corrected

Great set. I also like the Yak shot. Also the L-17A Navion Were these taken from the patio as they look like they are landing towards the east. Every time i have been up this year they have come in the other way. Hope to get up all day sunday if the weather stays nice.

Hi Stan

Yes they were taken from the patio area, the forecast is looking god for the weekend at the moment, I'm planning on being at Old Sarum for their monthly fly-in!
