G-PERD AW139 new arrival at Bond Norwich today !

What a nice 'gift' waiting for me at Norwich International this morning ! A brand new AW139, all wrapped up and looking good on a pair of trucks ? Watching the unwrapping and unloading was just like Christmas for a three year old !!

The convoy is escorted to the appointed place ....


The outer layer is removed to reveal the registration ! getting excited now ??


Strops are attached to the rotor head !! Lots of people with hands firmly in pockets


At last the airframe is lifted a little and the truck moves from underneath it ....


And yes we get to see more of G-PERD ... formerly N395SH ...


Our latest 'gift' is pushed back into the hangar, will it emerge with new colours ??

Good morning mate.Yes the old adage of "Right place and moment" did occur as your pictorial story unfolded.(Think I've swallowed a dictionary )

Anyway some kind word's from our new number "1" and the other half is getting there slowly.

Isn't that colour scheme something else.I hope it stays on long enough before it suffers from scarlet fever..

Anyway I'll look out for more photo's but do hope to get there myself sometime next week...cheers

Well today 'the wraps are off' the airframe makes its first appearance in public, looking good in that scheme, which I am told will not be for much longer ??
