Managed a visit my local today, to catch the Helvetic Fokker, luckily the fog had lifted enough for some decent(ish) attempts. Did highlight a problem with my Sigma 135-400 which over exposes a lot of images :(

Nice shots given the conditions! Have you tried the field on the 27 approach? You get some good close ups from there, plus as the field is so big you can try quite a few different angles too!

Yes I also regularly go to Felton Common as well rather than stick to the same place all the time.
