Fantastic touchdown shots! Love the smoke and the gear legs at full extension with the weight not yet on them.

some nice pics Mark and nice touchdown catches but my favourite is the Etihad on approcah.

a bit of criticism though if you don't mind - some of them look like they could be levelled up a bit, would make them even better.

And another point you couldn't do much about, some of the touchdowns have that ***** pylon sticking out above them - do you have a heavy duty chainsaw? :D I realise you had to be in line with it for the touch downs but they are a bit of a nuisance aren't they.

Many thanks for the C&C

Andy
I didnt even notice the :grr: pylon but will do in future, I will move further down the footpath next time but I was so surprised when I got there that the aircraft were arriving on 05R that I just put my bag down and started to shoot!!!!! I will also try and level them up abit as you are right they do look better levelled.

Lovely set. Also a fan of smoking touch-down shots.

As for the pylon - better make it a heavily insulated one. Can't be sure from the angle but possibly 275,000 or 400,000 volts - ouch. More than burning rubber...!
