Heathrow

Post by IndiaEcho » Sun Feb 15, 2015 4:46 pm

Hi,

Last week I made my first trip out of the year, and had an enjoyable day at an interesting Heathrow.

I hadn't been there for long when I heard Air New Zealand call up on the radio - a pity ZK-OKM wasn't one of the special liveried aircraft, but still worth firing a shot off for:-

EC-JRE in the new Iberia livery:-

I was hoping to see some 787s - United sent two:-

A Transaero 767:-

My first Qatar A.380:-

The Philippines A.340:-

Cathay's 747-8 B-LJG would have been the day's highlight....

Were it not for Kalitta 747 N704CK:-

Royal Jordanian's JY-BAA arrived just before hometime to bring an enjoyable trip to a close:-

a nice set and well done.

Hoping to make my first full visit in over a year tomorrow as the forecast looks excellent and they will be landing on 27L in the morning (as long as the wind moves round as forecast) fingers crossed.
Andygolfer (or at least I was once), now just plane crazy
