Braving the elements to indulge yet again ! The weather at Luton today was changeable to say the least but reasonably bright although windy as we were told !!
So a few of the many movements, more to follow .....

was changeable wasn't it! If it was as cold ait has been in Essex (and it's very cold now) you were brave going out in it for long

Like the first 2 best Keith and some nice foreign ones too. Must get there sometime this year - I assume they are from the fire gate so looks like the visibility is still good for photography these days.

A Filipino Falcon, very nice!

As for N767MW, if you can afford to run a 767 I guess you can afford to fly it into LHR to pick you up :)

How many steps do you need on your ladder these days at crash gate 5? I'm 6ft and used to use a ladder with 3 steps, but I know I'll need more now the fence has been replaced with a taller one.

Depends on where you stand. Between the gate at the 26 end of the runway you'll need at least a five step ladder but if you go the other side of the gate towards the 08 end, then a three step will do.

Thanks for the info on the ladders chaps. Looks like I'll be ok with my 3-step model for now then.

Thank you for those kind words King Cobra ...... ah the step ladder issue is 'raised' again ? mine have five (how big are yours ?) Although I still managed an embarrassing de-mount from them during this day ..... much to others amusement .... lived to shoot another day !!

Keith
