G-ARHC is based at Halfpenny Green and G-HARY is based at Bourn.
Basically the owner of G-HARY was making a social visit to the current owner of G-ARHC as he'd ferried the pilot of G-ARHC when it was originally delivered to Halfpenny Green.
And no I wasn't in either of the Aircoupes and it was a lovely day but quite bumpy. We only had a very short opportunity so the intention had been to photograph the pair together, but once we got airbourne the blustery conditions had arrived earlier than expected and we had a slight comms issue with one of the Aircoupes. To air on the side of caution we decided to just shoot the two individually although that in itself cut down on the amount of time available.
