I spent Monday morning and most of yesterday at Stansted making the most of the excellent photography weather. There were several interesting movements including some to-ing and fro-ing from Scotland on COP26 related flights.
these were taken on Monday....

this Royal Thai Air Force A320 carries both civil and military markings, when I walked around the northern fence (about a 20 minute trek) I found it surrounded by snow ploughs and other counter-winter equipment anda clear shot was out of the question - I then amazed some other equally disappointed enthusiasts with my cheek! One of the maintenance guys was walking round and said 'having a good day?' I said 'Yes but it would be far better if you could move that snow plough' , a few cringes from others nearby who decided I had more front than blackpool and then utter surprise when he said 'give me five minutes and I'll get it out of the way' - what a gentleman and what a result! - I put a post on the Stansted google group to say it was fully photographable and within an hour enthusiasts started turning up from all over the south east! Here's the result...
