RARE 767s at East Midlands Airport

Post by EMA Planespotting » Sun Mar 22, 2020 6:25 pm

A number of interesting rare 767s passenger and freight have been at East Midlands in the past few weeks.

11/3/20

Firstly, was SkyTaxi 767-281(BDSF) SP-MRF seen departing to Leipzig as TE101. It was seen departing after arriving from Leipzig in the early hours. It was operating for DHL instead of a DHL 767F.

Two very nice 767Fs operating for DHL instead of a DHL 767F or A330F or AeroLogic 777F. The first 767 seen was Kalitta Air 767-3P6(ER)(BDSF) N765CK arriving from New York JFK as K4977. The second 767 was Polar Air Cargo 767-306(ER)(BDSF) N647GT was then seen arriving from Cincinnati as 5Y305.

Unfortunately I missed the Polar Air Cargo depart to Cincinnati but I did see the Kalitta Air 767-3P6(ER)(BDSF), N765CK depart to London Heathrow as K4978. Then Titan Airways 767-36N(ER) G-POWD is seen arriving from Calgary as ZT461, carrying British Army troops from the BATUS Army base. It departed a few hours later back to Calgary to collect more troops as AWC246P.
