Hi chaps,
This is my first proper post on here. I've been posting on FighterControl for a while, but as I'm making some videos of civilian jets I thought I'd post this on here.
This is the Airbus Beluga that arrived at Hawarden this afternoon. I waited for it to depart, but it looks like she's stopping for the night. http://youtu.be/ezQfI2fUIIo
I have to say that it's so much easier tracking down the civilian jets than it is the mil ones. I departed Staffordshire a few minutes after my plane finder alert went off and arrived with about 15 minutes to spare - plenty of time for a cuppa tea and to set my camera up!
An enjoyable day! I hope you enjoy the video.
Cheers
Ben

Great video Ben. didn't it scare the pigeons!
Love the reflections of the runway & piano keys as it went down, was moving about a bit as it touched wasn't it. Was the coach at the far end a day trip to see it arrive?
Do have to say it's not a patch on the Guppy though, from that head on angle it does look a bit ugly but somehow the Guppy got away with it.
Well filmed and thanks for sharing it. finally great first post and welcome to the forum.

Hi Andy,
Thanks for the welcome.
I only noticed all the vehicles at the 04 end when I was editing it, there was only two of us at the 22 end, it felt like a private show!
I never saw a Guppy in flight unfortunately, only the static one at Brunty, but I know what you mean. I must admit I have a real soft spot for the A300ST. Looking forward to the A330 replacement though I have to say! Although, I'm wondering if the runway at Hawarden is long enough to accommodate it?
Cheers
