photobucket disabling accounts - photos no longer visible

you may have noticed this image on various posts (and the admins' signatures) over the last few days:
It seems that photobucket are disabling accounts or at least photos which are posted from photobucket accounts to 3rd parties such as forums like this as they say doing so breaches their terms and conditions. They now require you to pay a subscription (around $400) to allow you to continue to link to images hosted on photobucket without them being disabled.
it appears to be a gradual process - many are still visible but they are gradually going so if you are a photobucket user and should you wish to continue posting images here and elsewhere you may wish to (or rather will have to) change your photo hosting platform or alternatively just pay up as they request.
If you have posted photos here which are hosted on photobucket then you may even wish to re-load them from another host - a long job but you might feels it's worthwhile. I suppose I'm going to have to see if there are any I feel that proud of that I want them preserved on here for the future ( won't take long ) and host them elsewhere.
It's already leaving a few holes in the Hall of fame but without the photo owner's permission we can't do anything about that I'm afraid.
