Japan Airlines 24-04-22

Seen a civil aircraft recently but not at one of the airfields listed below? Maybe it flew over the top of you today? Need to tie up the serial? Ask in here. Requests less than 6 months old only please.

Japan Airlines 24-04-22

Logged a Japan Airlines Boeing 787-9 as JA88J off the coast of Carlisle whilst on the M6, early afternoon. Wasn't driving but trying to write the number must have missed a digit.Unfortunately didn't get the flight number either.It was southbound, headed for Heathrow.Any help with info greatly appreciated.

JAL 43 is the inbound flight to LHR in the afternoon but it was a 777 not a 787 (the early AM flight is a 787 but didn't operate today , it is roughly every other day at present), the 777 was JA732J.

JAL43 on Sunday 24/04 was 777 JA731J and passed Carlisle Southbound at 14.40BST inbound Heathrow.
JAL45 on the same day was 787 JA880J and passed Carlisle Southbound at 15.45BST inbound Charles de Gaulle.

Details are taken from the FR24 playback facility.

good spot Mike, I had the LHR filter on so FR24 didn't show the Paris flight
