A friend has a few holes in his logs and I'm trying to help him tie in the registrations. They are all Boeing 727's as follow
Gatwick 17/1/88 - A Toros Air B727, it was written down as TC-AJV but needs confirmation
Stansted 31/5/84 - A United Airlines B727, no reg read off
Birmingham 19/5/90 - two ATA B727s visited that day, one was read off as N285AT but nothing for the second one
Long shots indeed but you never know, can anyone shed any light on these please?
many thanks

Some very old B727 tie ups
Re: Some very old B727 tie ups
Hi Tailwind- looking through some of my Boeing books TC-AJV could almost certainly be your Torosair 727 the operated as an airline from 1987 to 1989 before going defunct- they had a few 727's but I think this one was the first they had others which were either delivered after the date your mate saw the enquiry one or were never taken up. The aircraft they had which your mate can look up are TC-AJR/19393 TC-AJS/18744, TC-AJT/18743, TC-AJU/18951, TC-AJV/20265, TC-AJY/19993 and TC-AJZ/18802.
Info from TAHS Airline Jet Production Lists/Boeing and Plane logger- almost certain AJV is your friends 727- Cannot help you with the ATA 727's sorry
