Caribbean Airlines over the UK in 2015?

Post by james143611 » Sat Jun 20, 2020 12:10 am

Just wondering has anyone ever logged a Caribbean heavy over the UK, not necessarily to a UK airport, just at least OTT.

I have a log from Southampton from the 23rd April 2015 which has:

- 9Y-LHR (OTT)

On Freebirddb this flags up as a Caribbean Air Boeing B767.

I was a bit stupid back then and just noted serials and that was it, which nowadays makes it difficult to confirm any writing errors, which seemed to be common! I'm wondering if this is one of the error's, or if Caribbean do ever send a 767 to Europe? Not that I've ever seen one OTT since mind!

Any help appreciated!

James.

They had 9Y-LHR and 9Y-LGW. The clue is in the registrations. Yes they were regular visitors to these shores, so your log is valid.

Into Gatwick. The LHR-LGW archive gives its arrival on the regular run to Gatwick usually via the SAM VOR as
