I have read in the latest Air Britain mag that the Lookout Cafe / viewing area is operating as a Covid test centre.
The Biggin Airport website advertises this as "open to all", yes £85 for a simple swab test.
I have not been to Biggin for a while, partly the weather, but then obeying Covid restrictions on travel.
We all need to be sensible.
My concern is for the future. I can understand the cafe arranging an alternative income if it is temporary.
But, will it reopen ? The website gives no clue.
It would be sad to lose another viewing facility.
Pete.

Lookout Cafe Covid Testing
Re: Lookout Cafe Covid Testing
There are people going to make a killing out of these test center's especially if you want to go on holiday, as before the lockdown you needed to provide a negative test 72 hours before going on your holiday- Tui have arranged tests for people at £70 a pop which you get back PDQ so you can go on holiday- only downside if you are positive you have no holiday and have to self isolate for 14 days.
