I was greeted by a sad sight on my first outing to the National Museum of Flight, in six years.
Forlorn looking, this historic airframe is slowly decaying. To the outsider, it looks as though the Museum now solely revolves around its Concorde exhibition !

Indeed sad
I flew on a Dan Air frame in January 1976 from Gatwick to Malta; I remember how spacious the seating area was albeit I did not fully appreciate it as a youngster as I would do today!

Sad to think both the Comet & Vulcan next to it are looking so sad. Let’s hope something can be done to make the Comet & Vulcan look a little better?
