The Science Museum outpost at Wroughton has not been open to the public for years. Back in the late eighties, early nineties there were PFA Rally’s and Fly-Ins that sometimes gave access..
Here is some of what is behind closed doors. The Comet and Trident were not photographed as they were so crammed in. They have a massive amount in storage there, including cars, agricultural vehicles etc. Shame they do not do open days any more.

Brings back memories. I have many similar images. I still think it is a shame that the Connie and rare Boeing 247 and unique items like their hovercrafts aren't available to the public any more.
